This is a quick guide to some of the many features that are available to those wishing to Comment on this Blog.  For the moment, it is not indexed or in any logical order. If you have a question, please leave a comment with your query, I will do my best to help,…. bearing in mind that I am only just learning how to do much of this myself, this is quite evident by the fact that although I have learned how to “make” Smileys, I still can’t make them behave and sit on the line with the text.

My first entry(I had to start somewhere :-D ) is about using “Smilies” as many persons do like to use them to express their feelings in a comment, as one’s feelings are not always clear in text comments.

What Are Smileys?

Smileys, also known as “emoticons,” are glyphs used to convey emotions in your writing. They are a great way to brighten up posts. smile emoticon

Text smileys are created by typing two or more punctuation marks. Some examples are:

I have added a space between the  Colon or Semi Colon ” : or ; ” and the other two elements so that  it shows as text rather than the emoticon.

; -) is equivalent to smile emoticon
: -) is equivalent to smile emoticon
: -( is equivalent to sad emoticon
: -? is equivalent to confused emoticon
